I’ve used depilatory creams for years to remove unwanted facial hair, but lately have been worrying about the chemicals they contain. Recently I learned about Bellabe on a shopping channel web site and became curious as to whether it would be a viable alternative for me. I decided to toss one into my “cart” when purchasing other items at Amazon. After receiving and trying out the product, I find that it does work. Usage does involve a slight stinging sensation, which will hopefully lessen with time.

I tried the Trio Complex because I really wasn’t sure what percent TCA solution to use because I already use Alpha Hydroxy and Glycolic Acid products. I knew to buy from Yavonae because of a friend who works at a luxury spa. My peel was successful with say 80% improvement. I will repeat in 4 weeks {aiming for near perfection} and on a few darker scars and marks as spot treatments. Oh, I had a question and the seller was prompt and helpful with their response so great customer service is a bonus!

I received the Bellabe 3 weeks ago. It was easy to use and very effective in removing the facial hairs on the upper lip and chin area. I had to work harder to remove the hairs on the lower chin area. Mainly because they were not as visible and it is tougher (for me at least) to thighten the skin in this area. So far I am very pleased, the hair was pulled from the roots and has not returned. There is a stinging sensation, but more gentler than wax removal. And I don’t have the rough fuzzy hairs, (or shadow), that is left by shaving. I only wish I had known of the product years ago. I have what I fear is permanant skin discoloration on my upper lip and chin area from years of using hair removal creams.
For those wanting additional information on the product, there are several “great” videos available on youtube. I viewed several before deciding to purchase the item.

I felt bad about buying the facial wand over the 6oz tub because you get so much more if you spend more on the tub! But from past usage, I knew it gets really messy and I figured if I bought the 6oz tub for my facial hair, I’d be wasting money because the tub would probably crystallize before I used all of the product. – It’s worth it! I’m only using it for my upper lip and the wand really makes application easy and not messy. Also you only need a little bit each time so the .2oz of goop in the wand is plenty. Just becareful when using it the first time. Make sure that you twist it slowly and wait for the goop to ooze out; I twisted the wand until the stuff oozed out, then too much came out.
